Lyme Disease & Vitamin C:

The classic symptoms of Lyme Disease are mild to severe joint and muscle pain, and flu-like symptoms that include fatigue, backache, stiff neck, and headaches. In the most severe cases, chronic arthritis is common, and there are complications in the heart and nervous system.

I was delighted to read a story today by Doctor Julian Whitaker, a highly respected alternative physician, about a woman who was cured IN 3 DAYS of a a very severe case of Lyme disease. Doctor Whitaker is a good friend of Doctor Thomas Levy, recently asked Tom Levy for personal experiences using IV itamin C. Let me quote Doctor Whitaker:

"one case in particular stands out. A woman suffering with severe and debilitating Lyme disease had been seen by many doctors, and had not responded to several courses of antibiotics. Her health was rapidly failing, and her husband called Doctor Levy."

"The woman was immediately infused with 100 grams of vitamin C, and within just two hours of treatment, her husband reported that she looked 50 to 60 percent better. Over the next two days, she received five more, 50-gram infusions of vitamin C -- and by hour #72, she was completely well! That was nearly two years ago. She has since suffered no relapses, nor is there any indication of a chronic infection."

The story I just told you is printed in a booklet that Doctor Whitaker gives out free (one of 12) with new subscriptions to his print newsletter. The booklet is called,"Dr. Whitaker's Most Astonishing SPEED CURES. I read it for the first time today, and it's worth its weight in gold. No kidding! I learned a lot of things worth knowing today.

If you have Lyme disease, and would like to try intravenous vitamin C therapy. Doctor Whitaker suggests you contact the American College for Advancement in Medicine, and ask them to tell you the name of a physician in your area who gives vitamin infusions. Their phone # is 1-800-532-3688, and their website is: http://www.acam.org

If you live near Wichita, Kansas, he suggests you call Hugh Riordan, M.D., at # 316-682-3100. His website is: http://www.brightspot.org

Doctor Levy can be found in Denver at 1-800-331-2303, or http://www.peakenergy.com

Lyme disease & Cats Claw (Samento)

David Williams is one of my few heroes. I trust him implicitly. So when he says that Lyme disease is "a huge, unrecognized threat spreading silently and quickly among us," I believe him.

Until today, I thought that Lyme disease could only be propagated by infected ticks. That may have been true 20 years ago, but not today. Dr. Williams says that spirochetes of Lyme disease are now in fleas, mites, and mosquitoes. Live spirochetes have been found in blood, urine, tears, semen, breast milk, and vaginal secretions. It has contaminated blood transfusions, and has been found in dairy cattle. What really stunned me was that Doctor Williams says that Lyme disease (LD) can mimic more that 350 other medical conditions. That list contains just about every disease or degenerative condition that any of us have ever heard of. Williams says that there may be 20 million people in the USA who are infected with Lyme disease -- most of them, without knowing it. They attribute their symptoms to another disease that Lyme has perfectly imitated. Doctor Williams says the standard tests for LD are often innaccurate (Western Blot & ELISA). He recommends a new test (Q-RIBb) which is highly accurate and provides results in just 20 minutes. Check out the test at this website:
www.bowen.org (Bowen Research & Training) 727-937-9077.

Doctor Williams says that the currently-prescribed medications do little to alleviate the condition. Antibiotics must be taken for 8 to 16 months to completely rid the body of the Lyme spirochete. Most insurance plans only pay for the first 60 days. The result? People quit the treatment after a few months, and resign themselves to suffer from LD the rest of their days.

However, there is GOOD NEWS! Doctor Williams cites a recent study in the USA in which 28 people suffering from severe LD were treated for 6 months. 14 of the patients received the standard doses of antibiotics. The other 14 took doses of Cat's Claw, an herb from the Brazilian rainforest with a legendary reputation. The result? Three of the fourteen who took antibiotics showed slight improvement. But ALL of the 14 who took Cat's Claw showed "dramatic improvement." Indeed, 12 of the 14 were tested at the end of six months, and NO trace of LD remained!

The Cat's Claw product used in the test is called Samento, and is sold by NutraMedix (www.nutramedix.com) 1-800-730-3130. Doctor Williams also listed two other reliable sources of Cat's Claw. Most of them are liquid extracts. You take 15 drops each day (3 doses of 5 drops each).

Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever & Vitamin C

Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (RMSF cured by mega-doses of Vitamin C).

RMSP is a viral infection that comes from the bites of ticks. It is apparently curable -- in a matter of days -- by large doses of intravenous vitamin C. Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever is a nasty viral illness that is caused by the bite of ticks. It's similar in many ways to Lyme disease. Doctor Thomas Levy cured two men this year who had long-standing cases of RMSF by giving them intravenous mega-doses of vitamin C.

If I had lyme disease or RMSF I would find a clinic that gives vitamins intravenously, and try the vitamin C protocol. Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (RMSF) is an acute, infectious disease, that is usually caused by the bites of infected ticks. It's characterized by high fevers, muscle soreness, severe headaches, extreme exhaustion, and a rash which starts on the hands and feet, and then spreads inward to the trunk of the body. If those of you with Lyme Disease recognize those symptoms, then I may have some good news for you. Back in the 1950's and 1960's, Dr. Frederick Klenner, of NorthCarolina, cured a number of cases of RMSF, by giving his patients massive doses of vitamin C intravenously. Klenner is the same man who cured 60 out of 60 cases of polio in l949, using intravenous vitamin C.

Let my quote from the book, VITAMIN C, INFECTIOUS DISEASES, AND TOXINS by Dr. Thomas Levy. He's talking about how Dr. Klenner cured some cases of RMSF -- including his own son, who was gravely ill:

"The patient had 104.4 temperature, a characteristic rash over the body, a positive blood test, and was in a coma when seen by Klenner. Klenner gave 30,000 mg of vitamin C intravenously every six hours. He also gave large oral doses of PABA. The PABA treatment schedule was 6,000 mg, every two hours, for three doses; then 4,000 mg every 2 hours for 12 doses; and finally, 4,000 mg every 4 hours, until the fever was gone for a full 24 hours. With this vitamin C / PABA treatment, this patient was conscious and rational with 6 hours of starting treatment. The patient was sent home on the sixth day."

Kleener also treated a 12 year-old girl, whose symptoms were even worse. She was sent home on Day #7 fully recovered. Klenner cured his son in just 4 days.

I am NOT saying that Lyme Disease and RMSF are identical. But both are caused by infected ticks. If I had Lyme Disease, I would find a clinic in my area that gives vitamin C infusions intravenously. The clinic would also be able to give the PABA doses. And until I found the clinic (often not an easy task), I'd begin taking LOTS of vitamin C orally.

Diseases That Lyme Mimics (a few listed out of 350 total)

Doctor David Williams said there are over 350 medical conditions that Lyme disease mimics. Here are just a few of them:

Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis, Bell's Palsy, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, schizophrenia, irritable bowel syndrome, coronary artery disease, heart failure, heart palpitations, ADD, chronic pain syndromes, sleep apnea, mitral valve relapse, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, Menierie's disease, gallbladder inflammation, and various auto-immune diseases such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and scleroderma. Doctor Williams says Lyme disease can even cause SIDS, if the mother is infected early in her pregnancy.

If Doctor Williams is correct, then millions and millions of people who think they suffer from these and other diseases, are actually suffering from Lyme disease. And Cat's Claw, in at least one recent study, cured 12 of 14 people who were long-term Lyme disease sufferers. That strikes me as stunning health news.

The classic symptoms of Lyme Disease are mild to severe joint and muscle pain, and flu-like symptoms that include fatigue, backache, stiff neck, and headaches. In the most severe cases, chronic arthritis is common, and there are complications in the heart and nervous system.

MS is one of about 350 diseases and degenerative conditions which Lyme disease can mimic perfectly. That does NOT mean that everyone who has been diagnosed with MS is, in fact, suffering form Lyme disease. But chances are good that some of them are. If I had MS, fibromyalgia, lupus, chronic fatigue sydrome, or just about any serious illness, I'd have myself tested, for Lyme disease. Alice thinks she had it, unknowingly, for 30+ years. And now that she's taking Cat's Claw, mega-doses of vitamin C, and twice-a-week antibiotics, the terrible symptoms of a lifetime, are fading away.

Most doctors seem to be at a loss to arrest, reverse, or cure just about any major illness -- especially all the new auto-immune diseases. If some of those illnesses are really Lyme disease -- and if there is a cure for lyme disease -- then many people who have given up all hope of ever being healthy again, will have a shot at regaining their health.
